An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Removal Sales Estimator to join a leading removals company in Essex. This role plays a key part in driving revenue growth by conducting pre-move surveys and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings. Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting on-site and virtual pre-move surveys for household goods (HHG) relocations
* Assessing volume, access, packing requirements, and special handling needs
* Preparing accurate and competitive quotations for domestic moves
* Advising customers on packing services, storage solutions, and insurance options
* Building strong relationships with prospective clients to maximise conversion rates
* Following up on quotations to secure confirmed bookings
* Liaising with operations teams to ensure smooth handovers
* Maintaining CRM systems with detailed and accurate survey information
* Identifying upselling opportunities including export wrapping and storage
* Managing a pipeline of sales leads and meeting revenue targets
* Representing the company professionally during customer interactions
* Staying up to date with industry trends and competitor activity
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Removal Sales Estimator within the removals industry
* Strong knowledge of household goods relocations and survey processes
* Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
* Ability to accurately calculate move volumes and pricing
* Self-motivated with a track record of achieving sales targets
* Full UK driving licence
