Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Die Caster to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating die casting machines and ensuring the production of high-quality metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Operate and monitor die casting machines to produce metal components according to specifications.
* Set up and adjust machinery, including programmable logic controllers, to optimise production efficiency.
* Perform milling operations and handle materials safely throughout the production process.
* Conduct assembly tasks, ensuring all components meet quality standards.
* Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols in the warehouse environment.
Skills
* Proficient in fabrication techniques and materials handling.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and machinery.
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and their applications in manufacturing processes.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
