Admissions Officer
Location: Islington, North London
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-Term Agency Placement (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
ANZUK Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Admissions Officer to join a busy and welcoming school in Islington. This is a long-term opportunity starting immediately, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.
The Role
You will play a key role in managing the school’s admissions process, ensuring applications and pupil data are handled accurately and in line with school and local authority policies. The position sits within a fast-paced school office and requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and confident communication with families and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the school admissions process in accordance with local authority and school policies
*
Process applications, offers, and waiting lists accurately and efficiently
*
Act as the main point of contact for admissions enquiries from parents, carers, and external agencies
*
Maintain accurate student data and records within the school MIS
*
Liaise with the Local Authority admissions team where required
*
Produce reports and monitor admissions data to support school operations
Requirements
*
Previous school admissions experience
*
Strong working knowledge of Bromcom MIS (essential)
*
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
*
Confident communication skills when liaising with parents and stakeholders
*
Ability to work effectively in a busy school office environment
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*
Valid Right to Work in the UK
