We are seeking a Community Engagement Officer to work closely with Aboriginal communities across NSW, helping shape programs and initiatives that support self‑determination, strengthen relationships, and deliver meaningful outcomes. In this role you will coordinate and deliver engagement strategies that ensure Aboriginal voices, priorities, and aspirations are at the heart of our work. You’ll support senior staff to develop communication materials, build strong relationships with communities, and help guide the delivery of the Aboriginal Land Rights and native title across NSW. This is a chance to contribute to meaningful change and support the aspirations of Aboriginal communities across the state. You’ll be part of a team committed to respectful engagement, cultural integrity, and strengthening outcomes for Aboriginal people. For more information read the full Role Description: Community Engagement Officer About You - Strong understanding of Aboriginal cultures, community dynamics, and the diversity of Aboriginal experiences across NSW. - Ability to build trust and maintain respectful relationships with community members, Elders, and stakeholders. - Confidence in communicating with a wide range of audiences, including preparing written materials and supporting community‑focused messaging. - Willingness to travel and work directly with communities. - A team-oriented approach and commitment to supporting positive outcomes for Aboriginal people.
