We’re currently looking for an experienced Principal Planning Officer to join a dynamic planning team on a flexible, part-time basis.
* Location: County Hall Haverfordwest (remote/hybrid working options available)
* Hours: 22 hours per week
* Rate: £30.00 per hour umbrella
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled planning professional to manage a varied caseload of major planning applications and pre-application enquiries, including:
* Screening and scoping opinions for EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) development
* Residential, commercial, industrial, and energy-related schemes
* Providing expert advice on complex planning matters
* Supporting the council’s delivery of sustainable, well-planned development
What we’re looking for:
* An experienced planning officer, ideally with a background in major applications and EIA development
* Strong report writing and caseload management skills
* Ability to work flexibly with remote and hybrid working options
