Solicitor - Real Estate (DHL Sector) - Bristol - 4+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol (with hybrid flexibility)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £65,000 to £90,000 (dependent on experience)
A leading national law firm is seeking a Real Estate Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE to join its specialist Drinks, Hospitality & Leisure (DHL) team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work with major household name operators across the UK, supporting a fast paced, commercially focused client base spanning brewers, pub companies, restaurant groups, hotels, late night venues and wider leisure brands.
The team is known for delivering rapid, commercially grounded advice and operates as a fully integrated national practice, collaborating closely with colleagues in corporate, employment, tax, planning, IP/media and disputes.
The Role
You will work with national operator clients on a broad range of real estate and sector specific matters, including:
* Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
* Development and pre let arrangements
* Portfolio re gears and estate optimisation
* Day to day estate management (L&T, licences, variations, easements and ancillary agreements)
* Working alongside specialists on TUPE, TOGC, capital allowances and licensing/regulatory issues
* Supporting roll out programmes and complex transactions at pace
* Collaborating seamlessly with colleagues across the firm's UK offices
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor with:
* 4+ years PQE in real estate, ideally with hospitality or operator led experience
* Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
* Ability to manage matters independently while contributing to a national team
* Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
* A proactive, organised and solutions focused approach
* Confidence working with major operator clients in a fast moving environment
* Willingness to engage in networking and business development
