Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Commercial to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Partner with the Operations Director to identify and maximise opportunities by working in partnership with the people we support, their families, commissioners, operations and community hub team members.
* Establish and maintain strategic relationships with Commissioners, Local Authorities, ICBs, and Housing Associations (in partnership with the Housing Manager).
* Business Partner with the Heads of Areas and Assessment and Placement Managers to achieve 95%+ occupancy and eliminate long-term voids.
* Collaborate with the Head of Pricing, Senior Pricing, Data Partner, and Home Managers to ensure Care Needs Assessments are completed accurately and timely for fee negotiations.
* Ensure placements are sustainably priced, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality and safety, in partnership with the Head of Pricing and Finance Business Partner.
* Operationalise new developments, ensuring timely delivery aligned with the approved business case.
* Identify new growth opportunities through new developments with the Head of New Developments.
* Identify homes requiring repurposing or redesigning and coordinate transformations.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, or related field.
* Extensive experience in commercial roles, preferably in Social Care or a related sector.
* Proven track record of driving growth and expansion.
* Strong experience in sales and business development.
* Strategic mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
