Who are Active Fusion?
Active Fusion have been helping the young people of Doncaster and South Yorkshire, through the power of sport and physical activity since 2002!
They're now a 20+ team full of passionate people who want to help increase the life expectancy of young people in the local area.
They do this through 1:1 and group coaching, partnerships in education and leadership training for young people. All to help children and young people live better, and longer lives.
The role will work closely with the Marketing Manager Poppy, and the wider team to share the visions and values of Active Fusion.
What might a typical day look like?
* Meeting with Poppy in the morning to plan out social media content for the month and make sure everything is scheduled for the week
* Spending a couple of hours writing and creating content for the website and social media accounts
* Heading out to an Active Fusion event in the afternoon to capture content and help promote Active Fusion and what they do.
* Making sure are always advocating Active Fusion and the difference the charity makes to young lives!
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for passionate individuals, who want to work for an organisation that is having a direct impact on people's lives. Some key words to describe the ideal Marketing and Communications Assistant at Active Fusion would be:
* Willing to learn and develop professionally
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Great organisation, time management and attention to detail
If you would consider yourself to fit those key words, we only ask that you are happy to work flexibly where needed (the occasional weekend event) and that you have a full UK driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Please note this is a part-time position covering 22.5 hours per week, this could look like 4.5 hours per day, or 7.5 hours across three days.
Please also note that the salary is £22,010.56 for FTE. This salary will be pro rata'd for part-time hours.
