Cast UK is hiring a Senior Supply Chain Manager to oversee end to end supply chain activities for our East Lancashire based FMCG client.

What does the role involve?
The key purpose of this role is to oversee all inbound supply chain activities across a multi-site operation, including:
1. Supply planning, production planning and material management, ensuring all customer orders are delivered in accordance with agreed lead times
2. Demand planning, forecasting and inventory management, optimising the overall master production schedule to support minimal inventory holding whilst maintaining product availability
3. Leading, coaching and developing a small supply chain team, ensuring you deliver on agreed KPIs and objectives
4. Working to maintain and improve system accuracy (. MRP master data, BOM, purchase orders, inventory)
5. Collaborating effectively with suppliers to drive optimal vendor performance and quality
6. Leading on a number of continuous improvement initiations and key ERP system projects

Ideal Skills and Experience
10. Proven track record in an end to end supply chain leadership role in a fast-paced, dynamic business
11. End to end supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG or Food manufacturing
12. Significant expertise in supply planning, demand planning, material management, production scheduling and inventory control
13. Previous experience in global supply chain management, particularly managing imports from vendors in Europe and the Far East
14. Strong Excel skills with excellent data analysis ability
15. Good ERP system skills, ideally with exposure to ERP system upgrades / implementations in the past
16. Strong leadership and management skills, able to coach and inspire a supply chain team
17. Honed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other functions across the business
