About the Role:
1. Manage daily onsite material processing, recovery, and disposal operations.
2. Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of all operational personnel.
3. Maintain health and safety compliance for all visitors.
4. Ensure compliance with Environment Agency site permit and applicable legislation.
5. Follow all company processes and procedures.
6. Participate actively in the onsite senior management team.
7. Support recruitment, induction, and training of new employees.
8. Train, develop, and coach staff.
9. Oversee preventative maintenance of plant and equipment.
10. Coordinate with colleagues to transport materials per offtake agreements and permit requirements.
11. Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and conduct competency assessments.
12. Engage in the site SHEQ working group.
13. Conduct performance reviews of operational staff.
14. Lead daily site planning and review meetings.
15. Maximize plant availability and throughput while maintaining output quality.
16. Manage operational costs effectively.
17. Ensure sufficient staffing for safe and compliant shifts.
18. Approve payroll submissions.
Essential Qualifications:
* WAMITAB Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC) with current competency certification.
