We are an established and busy family run steel fabrication and erection company based in Dundee. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to deliver steelwork loads around Scotland. The position is a full time and permanent working 37 hours per week with project dependent overtime, rates of pay £16-£18per hour, depending on experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Un-loading steel deliveries to our workshop premises using overhead cranes.
* Loading steelwork onto 45' trailers using overhead cranes.
* Driving artic lorry / loaded 45' trailers to various sites around Scotland.
* Delivering and picking up orders in transit van.
* Complying with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
* Any other duties as required.

Key Skills and Requirements:
* HGV Class 1 driving license.
* Flexible and can do attitude.
* Experience in handling structural steelwork.
* Ability to use (learn to use) overhead cranes, training will be given.
* Availability to work out-with normal working hours (early starts, late finishes)
