Job Title: Collections Administrator
Location: Borehamwood
Salary: Up to £25,000

About the Role

We have a great new opportunity with a bridging lender who needs a Junior Portfolio and Recoveries administrator.


Responsibilities

* Post-completion administration including writing to borrowers, updating internal systems, and creating action points
* Monitoring loan servicing and collections where borrower interest payments are required
* Servicing tasks including maintaining building insurance records, monitoring registration of charges, and liaising with solicitors on outstanding conditions
* Managing redemptions: contacting borrowers 3 months prior to loan expiry, processing extension requests for Credit Committee, liaising with finance and issuing redemption statements, and coordinating with lawyers regarding Land Registry discharge paperwork and investor updates
* Supporting default processes including instructing solicitors and borrower correspondence
* Assisting the wider Portfolio and Recoveries team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
* Ensuring KYC/AML and compliance requirements are monitored and met throughout servicing and recovery stages


Experience/Qualifications

* Good phone manners and communication skills - verbal and written
* Self-starter
* Confident in their role
* Organised
* Experience in the mortgage or bridging sector ideally in a collections or servicing team
