To support the effective, efficient and smooth running of the area office and ensure that we continually improve the way we do things and the experience Breedon customers have.

The role supports all functions within the area office – business development & sales, customer service, transport and technical teams. Office management is outside the scope of this role

This is a fixed term role to cover maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to commercial and business development teams.
2. Provide after sales support and resolve customer queries in a timely and effective fashion – triage queries, complaints & claims and where possible resolve.
3. Support Customer Service and Transport teams to maintain accurate and visible customer and driver records, e.g. provide PODs and add additional payments to tickets for correct payments.
4. Manage and approve Haulier payments and queries ensuring accuracy of haulage times and distances.
5. Escalate repeating inaccuracies in system data to the relevant data owner for permanent resolution.
6. Ensure compliance to company policies and identify / mitigate any risk to it.
7. Assist in supporting other customer service roles with tasks identified during busy periods and to cover annual leave (as directed by the Customer Service Manager).
8. Conduct general administration tasks such as data input and analysis.
9. Daily checking of Podfather to make sure customer charges and driver payments are right first time.
10. Raising purchase orders as requested by site staff and the processing of supplier invoices in Findocs including resolving any queries in a timely manner.
11. Supporting payroll by processing the monthly overtime sheets for site staff.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
12. Sales and customer service support
13. Serving a range of internal and external customers, you’ll enjoy a fast-paced environment and managing multiple competing demands
14. Strong verbal and written communication
15. Strong office-based skill set including MS package
16. Proven experience in data analysis
