Job Overview: Working on a rolling contract basis, 40 hours per week, on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon.
Responsibilities
* Creation of vehicle concept proposals in the form of vehicle architecture package layouts.
* Creation of outline component and system proposals to further the vehicle package development.
* Definition and development of detailed vehicle packages at the whole vehicle or package zone level.
* Tracking and monitoring resolution of all geometric issues within a package zone.
* Mediation and negotiation between CoC areas to develop solutions for geometric issues within a package zone.
Qualifications
* At least 2 years experience in product development within vehicle integration or packaging role.
* Experience of CATIA V5 & V6 for detail or packaging design and geometric integration.
* Well‑rounded knowledge of chassis & propulsion systems and sub systems.
* Experience of negotiating solutions in an area of technical conflict.
* Experience of using benchmarking tools to support idea generation.
* Experience of CATIA for detail or packaging design. (Other 3D CAD experience will be considered).
* Good communication skills - written, graphical and verbal.
