Known for exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and traditional woodworking techniques combined with modern manufacturing methods, they are looking for a passionate individual to help lead and develop their workshop team.The RoleA bespoke kitchen manufacturer in the LE65 area is looking for a hands-on Joinery Supervisor to join their growing team. This role would suit someone with strong practical woodworking and manufacturing experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership position.The successful candidate will be passionate about joinery and woodworking, capable of motivating a team, and committed to maintaining a productive and health & safety-focused workshop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervising and supporting the day-to-day running of the workshopManufacturing high-quality 5-piece doors, frames, and drawer boxesAssisting with the assembly of bespoke kitchens and cabinetrySupporting and motivating workshop staff to maintain high standardsEnsuring all work is completed efficiently and to specificationMaintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environmentMonitoring quality standards throughout the manufacturing processWorking closely with management to improve processes and productivityOperating woodworking machinery and tools safely and effectivelyCNC machining and/or spraying work where applicable (desirable but not essential)About YouPrevious experience within joinery, cabinet making, or kitchen manufacturingStrong practical woodworking skills and hands-on workshop experienceExperience manufacturing 5-piece doors, frames, drawer boxes, or similar productsNatural leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support othersGood understanding of workshop health & safety proceduresPositive attitude and willingness to develop your skills furtherAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamCNC and/or spray finishing experience beneficial but not essentialReliable, organised, and quality-focused approach to workHow to ApplyTo apply for the Joinery Supervisor position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
