Overview
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who thrives in a hands-on, active environment? We are seeking a dynamic and resilient Post-16 TA to support a unique group of young people in a role that’s far from classroom-bound. This is a long-term role for the right candidate, involving a wide variety of off-site activities.
Responsibilities
* Support off-site activities, including gardening and farming, travel training, work experience placements, and general outdoor learning and life skills.
* Provide day-to-day assistance to a diverse group of students, ranging from non-verbal learners to high-ability individuals.
* Engage proactively in practical education and contribute to a calm, caring, and supportive environment.

* SEN experience is essential.
* Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
* Adaptable, proactive, and able to support a variety of needs.
* Willing to participate in a range of activities and maintain a positive, humorous attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Details
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only; weekends off.
* Pay: Daily rate £90 - £95 (pay rate dependent on skills and experience).
