Lettings Administrator/Back Office Assistant Wanted

We are a small yet busy and successful letting agency in the heart of Leicester, and we believe that an efficient back office is the backbone of our business. We are looking for a highly motivated Lettings Administrator/Back Office Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent administrative skills to play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations. You'll be a key team member, providing essential support to our letting negotiators and property managers.
What you'll be doing:
* Administrative Support: Handling a wide range of administrative tasks, including preparing and processing tenancy agreements, managing property files, and updating our databases.
* Tenant and Landlord Communication: Acting as the first point of contact for a variety of inquiries, both over the phone and via email, and directing them to the appropriate team member.
* Compliance and Paperwork: Ensuring all property and tenant documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with current letting regulations.
* Organisational Support: Assisting with scheduling viewings, inspections, and maintenance requests, and generally keeping the office organized and efficient.
* Financial Assistance: Helping with rent collection processes and preparing landlord statements.
What we're looking for:
* Strong Administrative Skills: Proven experience in an administrative or office-based role is essential.
* Exceptional Organizational Abilities: You must be highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Professional and clear communication, both written and verbal, is a must.
* Proficiency in IT: You should be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to quickly learn new software systems.
* A proactive and positive attitude: A team player who is willing to get stuck in and help out wherever needed.
* Previous experience in a lettings or property environment is a bonus but not essential.
