Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various Private Homes. We work with a number of Professionals and therefore presentation and high standards must be met and maintained.
This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with established standards.
* Ensure all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored properly.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
* Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
* Maintain an organised supply cart and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and guests.
* Ironing - assist in ironing laundry
Qualifications
* Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Ability to work flexible hours, Mon to Fri very occasional request for weekend work but rare. (Please note school hours are not available)
* An ability to iron is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Must be physically fit, as the role involves lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Must sign a NDA, confidentiality is of the highest priority.
