We are a growing, owner-led pet nutrition manufacturer producing supplements, functional products, and specialist pet food for our own brands and private label partners.
We're hiring someone to build the recruitment, onboarding, training, and people structure that supports a fast-moving production environment.
This is a hands-on role on the shop floor, not corporate HR.
What You'll Do
* Own recruitment for production and operational roles
* Turn operational knowledge into structured onboarding and training
* Deliver training to new starters and existing team members
* Spend time on the floor learning how work is actually done
* Support with day-to-day people and performance issues
* Act as a first point of escalation for staffing and capability challenges
* Help document roles, expectations, and simple repeatable processes
You will learn processes directly from the shop floor, experienced team members, and live operations. You will turn real working practice into simple, practical training and role clarity.
You must be comfortable:
* Learning by doing, not just by being told
* Observing work and asking questions
* Translating messy, real-world processes into usable guidance
* Being present in production, not working from an office
An understanding of how operational or production environments function is a strong advantage.
