CMM Programmer duties include - * Operating and programming CMM equipment to inspect precision components and ensure compliance with specifications. * Using handheld measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers and gauges to support inspection activities. * Investigating non-conformances, liaising with Quality and Design teams to support root cause and corrective actions. * Recording inspection results and documenting non-conforming materials in line with company procedures. * Ensuring measuring equipment is correctly calibrated and maintained. * Supporting Goods Inwards inspection and general metrology activities as required.
CMM Programmer desirable skills and experience - * Experience operating and programming CMM machinery (PC-DMIS, MCOSMOS or similar advantageous). * Previous experience in a Quality Inspector, CMM Programmer or Metrology role. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances. * Relevant manufacturing or mechanical engineering qualification (HNC / HND or equivalent) desirable.
