Typical Responsibilities
- Assemble small components (electronic or mechanical) according to work instructions or samples.
- Inspect and test assembled products to ensure quality and functionality.
- Use tools such as soldering irons, small hand tools and air tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety protocols.
- Complete production documentation as required.
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues.

Qualifications
- Essential: Minimum of GCSEs, Maths and English, or further education qualifications.
Experience

- Essential: Experienced background in electronics manufacture.
- Desirable: Proficiency with PC literacy software.

- Essential: Skilled in assembly techniques and able to use hand and air tools.
- Essential: Good manual dexterity for working with small components.
- Essential: Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
