Placement Details
* Duration: 12 months, commencing June 2026
* Location: Springvale, Northern Ireland
* Salary: £26,000 + Share Scheme, Pension and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
* Eligibility: Penultimate year of study or enrolled in an integrated master’s program
Responsibilities
* Support the EHS Team in developing policies that are easy to adopt by our workforce
* Assist in achieving the Facility, Division and Corporate EHS Strategy
* Contribute to EHS improvement projects with cross‑functional involvement
* Build capability within our workforce by developing and delivering training
* Support event investigations
* Create psychologically safe environments to encourage communication and improve performance
* Communicate key messages in an innovative way to engage our workforce
* Lead forums and gain feedback to improve the EHS Function
* Support assurance activity and understand compliance
* Support trend analysis, use of Power BI and legal compliance tracking
* Engage with local authorities and build relationships with interested parties
* Opportunity to work with other departments to understand each function and contribute to their output
Qualifications
* Currently studying a degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health or a related discipline
* Targeted to achieve at least a 2:2 classification
Recruitment Process

Stage one – Video Interview: Selected candidates will complete a video interview reviewed by the Hiring Team.
Stage two – Assessment Centre: Assessment Centre on Thursday 22nd January at Springvale. The day will assess teamwork, decision‑making, communication and problem‑solving.
Stage three – Offer: Placed students will start on 29th June 2026. Offer decisions will be made as quickly as possible.
