Are you a driven and experienced Building Services Engineer ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for an expert in Electrical and Mechanical Building Services to lead impactful projects from conception to completion across sectors such as transport, healthcare, hospitality, education, commercial, and defence.
? The Role
As a Senior Building Services Engineer, you'll be at the heart of high-profile, sustainable building projects. You'll work directly with clients to shape their vision, guide a team of engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional experts to deliver innovative and environmentally responsible solutions-on time and within budget.
? Key Responsibilities
* Develop clear, comprehensive briefs through close collaboration with clients
* Lead options appraisals and recommend optimum design solutions
* Manage and mentor engineers and graduates within the team
* Work seamlessly with architects, surveyors, and structural/civil engineers
? What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
* Degree in Engineering or Building Services (with the ambition to achieve Chartered Engineer status)
* Demonstrable experience managing complex construction projects
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, IES, NBS, lighting/cable design, and Microsoft Office
* Familiarity with Scottish Technical Standards and UK Building Regulations
* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)
* Experience with renewable energy and low-carbon design
* Knowledge of planning and legislative frameworks
* Exposure to ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
