About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide general classroom support across KS1 and KS2, promoting engagement and positive behaviour.
* Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions to support learning.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering creative, inclusive lessons.
* Support pupils with a range of SEND, including communication, sensory, and physical needs.
* Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Previous experience in a school or SEN setting (essential).
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
* A good understanding of SEND conditions and how they affect learning and behaviour.
* Confidence in working with pupils with communication and/or physical challenges.
* A caring, collaborative, and proactive approach to working with children and colleagues.
