Purpose of Role
Join VINCI Facilities’ Defence team as a Business Development Manager, driving growth and building strong client relationships. You’ll identify new opportunities, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with operational teams to deliver innovative solutions that add value for our customers.
Job Description
As part of our proposals and sector teams, you will:
1. Generate and develop new business opportunities within the defence sector.
2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
3. Support tender submissions, presentations, and bid strategies.
4. Work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure successful delivery.
5. Contribute to VINCI’s mission of creating and maintaining great places to live and work.
Responsibilities
6. Identify and pursue new markets and partnership opportunities.
7. Research and analyse potential clients, projects, and competitors.
8. Develop tailored proposals and scopes of work with technical teams.
9. Lead negotiations and communicate complex business concepts effectively.
10. Maintain a strong network to drive organic growth and repeat business.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
11. Proven experience in business development within facilities management or related sectors.
12. Strong understanding of market trends and competitor analysis.
13. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deliver under pressure.
14. Proficiency in preparing bids, proposals, and client presentations.
