Performance Test Engineer (JMeter) - 90% Remote Working - FTC
This position is being offered on a fixed‑term contract basis for an initial 3‑month period and offers a salary of up to £50,000 per annum. The role requires starting ASAP.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop performance‑testing solutions for financial services and AI‑based projects.
• Support the consultancy on test‑automation proof‑of‑concept projects and present and demo solutions to clients.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the Quality Engineering process, including the implementation of best practices and automation strategies.
• Create and maintain code and documentation for project work.
• Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress to the Test Manager and stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Experience of performance testing using JMeter.
* Open to building test automation skills in TypeScript and Playwright.
* Strong knowledge/experience of either JMeter or Gatling.
* Ability to work across multiple projects.
Must hold British passport or ILR; no visa sponsorship available.
Location: Primarily remote with one day per month in the consultancy office in Berkshire & client visits when requested.
Start Date: ASAP.
