Spectator Safety Steward – Stadiums
Role Overview
We are seeking well‑presented, articulate and reliable personnel to work at a variety of events held at football and rugby stadiums across West Yorkshire, home to some of the most iconic names in English football, rugby and a variety of one‑off events such as music concerts. You will be working for our clients at their world‑class venues in the North. As an Event Steward your main role is to ensure the safety and security of everyone attending events at the stadium. This may include, but is not limited to:
* Scanning tickets
* Directing spectators
* Monitoring crowds
* Managing queues
At some of our clients' venues, such as Leeds United's Elland Road, Huddersfield Town's Accu Stadium, Burnley FC's Turf Moor and Manchester United's Old Trafford, we also offer opportunities in specialist roles such as VIP Hospitality and Players' Areas.
Role Requirements
We are looking for candidates who can commit to working a minimum of 75% of events held at one of our client venues, or to working across multiple sites.
* Flexibility and reliability are essential
* You must be at least 18 years old
* You must hold a Level 2 qualification in Spectator Safety or be currently enrolled on this qualification
* Excellent communication skills and an aptitude for working with the public
* A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
* Previous experience in security, stewarding or customer care would be advantageous
