About the role:
The administrative resource unit (ARU) is a large team of professional administrators who provide a range of admin support across the organisation.
The aim of the role 'Team Administrator' is to provide support to teams, primarily in a specific Directorate, and work flexibly across the organisation in line with business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* managing enquiries (internal and external) to ensure information reaches the right people to respond;
* providing team support by arranging team meetings and taking notes when required;
* following processes and procedures;
* arranging travel;
* budget administration.
The role requires engagement with stakeholders to ensure that the relevant team receives appropriate administrative support.
About you:
* You will be proactive with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* Experience of Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams are essential.
* Experience of using multiple inboxes and calendars, note and minute taking is preferrable.
* Experience of budget administration is desirable.
* You will have customer service focus, and be confident in engaging with the public through calls and emails, as well as with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
