As an English Teacher, you’ll encourage students to love reading and express themselves with clarity and creativity.
Main Duties as an English Teacher:
* Plan and deliver inspiring English lessons across Key Stages.
* Foster a love of language, literature, and critical thinking.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning needs.
* Assess, track, and report on student progress.
* Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
To be considered for this English Teacher role, candidates must:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching English in UK schools.
* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.
* Be committed to safeguarding and the welfare of pupils.
* Possess a valid, enhanced DBS certificate registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
* Provide a full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps explained.
