The opportunity:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Merchandiser - Domestic to join our Supply Chain team, reporting to the Lead Supply Chain Merchandiser - Domestic & FOB.
This role is central to ensuring smooth order processing and customer service delivery across the EMEA market. You'll work collaboratively with our internal teams (Sales, Warehouse, Finance, Compliance) and external partners to ensure exceptional service, from order to delivery.
What are key duties of the role?
Order Processing & Customer Service
Accurately process sales orders through ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and timely flow.
Allocate orders to meet customer deadlines and delivery requirements.
Collaborate with warehouse and 3PL partners to track, update, and resolve order issues.
Maintain pricing, delivery, and shipping details with accuracy.
Manage customer portals for order entry and documentation uploads.
Arrange and track sample shipments and coordinate reworks when required.
Provide safety test reports in collaboration with the Compliance team.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through professional communication and efficient service.
Collaborate with Sales to anticipate demand, seasonal trends, and promotional requirements.
Identify and recommend process improvements for operational efficiency.
Complaints, Returns & Credits
Manage the shared Customer Service inbox, triaging and resolving issues promptly.
Record, investigate, and coordinate complaint resolutions and returns in line with policy.
Monitor trends and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Administrative Support
Handle incoming calls, visitors, and deliveries professionally.
Support the wider Supply Chain team with reporting, documentation, and general admin duties.
What we need you to bring to the team:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service or supply chain.
* Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Knowledge of EDI and retail web-based portals desirable.
* A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and collaborative approach.
Location:
This is an office-based role, working 4-5 days per week at our Shoreham-by-Sea headquarters.
