Role: Part-Time Payroll Specialist -Temp to Perm Location: Dewsbury, WF12 Salary : £15.38 per hour/ £29,000 FTE Hours : Monday-Friday, 25 hours per week over 5 days, (9-2pm /10-3pm - flexible hours to suit) Hybrid working available Immediate start About the role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Part-Time Payroll Specialist - Temp to Perm, to join a fast paced, friendly and dynamic finance team as an additional team member. You'll play a key role in managing the company's payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while contributing to the wider success of the finance department. Key Responsibilities of the Part-Time Payroll Specialist: Oversee and process weekly and monthly payroll for circa 200 employees Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll related queries and escalations Ensure compliance with HMRC, PAYE legislation and pension requirements Run payroll using SAGE Payroll software Provide ad hoc support to the finance team as needed Skills & Experience required: Demonstrable experience in managing end to end payroll, ideally within a busy environment Proficient in SAGE Payroll Solid understanding of current payroll legislation, compliance, and best practices Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Highly organised, able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines A high degree of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information What's In It For You?
