Salary: £36,000 - £46,000 per annum dependent on experience + £3,000 CA

The role
As a member of our team of social workers, you will help vulnerable children and young people find a foster home that can transform their future. You will supervise and advise foster carers, ensuring that both carers and children have the support they need to thrive.
You will visit homes and stay in contact with both carers and young people, acting as a safeguarding champion. Caseloads are kept lower to allow a person‑centric focus, giving you more time to work closely with the young people and their carers.
You will collaborate with our specialist clinical teams to identify and provide the right kinds of support, such as occupational therapy, art therapy, and clinicians with a specialism in trauma and attachment theory.
As a key team member in one of our local fostering agencies, you will ensure that children and young people are safe, secure, well looked after, and that our high standards are consistently maintained.
Through your passion and commitment, you will inspire carers to grow in confidence and achieve their potential, with an impact on the children they care for.
Who we are looking for
Requirements:
* Passionate about building incredible lives for children and helping foster carers become the best they can be.
* Confident and imaginative.
* BA or MA degree in social work.
* Registered with the appropriate body and hold a full driving licence.
* Previous social work experience, particularly with young people who have a history of trauma and enhanced needs.
* Ready to take on real responsibility and benefit from ongoing support.
* Open to sharing your skills and experience to help the whole team excel.
