As a Housing Officer, youll manage a defined patch, delivering tenancy, leasehold and neighbourhood management services primarily through office-based and remote contact. While this role does not include routine tenancy visits, you will carry out the full range of housing management duties, ensuring residents receive responsive, effective and compliant landlord services.
You will manage your own diary, balancing office and home working, while building strong working relationships with residents and stakeholders to resolve issues and drive positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
1. Deliver full tenancy, leasehold and neighbourhood management services across your locality in an office-based capacity.
2. Act as a key point of contact for residents, resolving tenancy queries, managing cases and promoting positive outcomes.
3. Manage rent arrears cases, ASB reports, tenancy changes, breaches of tenancy and enforcement actions in line with policy and legislation.
