Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and other key financial reports. Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure payments to suppliers are processed on time and supplier accounts are reconciled. Help prepare tax returns, including VAT and other relevant filings. Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate inventory and WIP valuation. Verify and reconcile stock, ensuring accurate valuations and addressing any discrepancies. Work closely with the Stock team to ensure system-to-floor checks, quarantine movement authorisations, and inventory audits are completed in line with company policies. Assist in the timely closing of accounts and preparation for audits. What We’re Looking for: AAT Level 4 (or equivalent). Previous experience as an Assistant Management Accountant, ideally within manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar industry. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to analyse complex data. Training can be provided to the right candidate. A self-starter with attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with a team-focused attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving. What’s On Offer?
