Band 6 Specialist Community Nurse - Overnight Nursing
Full Time, 9 month Fixed Term Contract
Our Overnight Nursing Team is looking for a Band 6 Specialist Nurse to provide high‑quality care to individuals in the community during night shifts.
As a clinical leader during night shifts you will:
* Deliver safe, person‑centred care in a quiet but crucial time.
* Support and guide junior nurses and support workers.
* Lead by example within your professional discipline.
* Offer expert clinical advice to multidisciplinary teams.
* Ensure continuity of care through high standards and clear communication.

Job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide competent and compassionate care to community members overnight.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and review care.
* Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
* Respond promptly to emergency situations and call out.
* Continuously improve practice and patient safety.
Person Specification
* Qualified registered nurse (RN) with appropriate clinical experience.
* Experience in community nursing and/or overnight services preferred.
* Strong communication, decision‑making and leadership skills.
* Commitment to high clinical and quality standards.
* CT scan – capable of handling advanced clinical scenarios during night shifts.
