This role is based in our facility in Winchester, Tennessee, and reports to our Distribution Manager. The successful candidate will operate and run machinery with the purpose of supporting efficient production as well as adhering to safety expectations.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated individual to be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to best practices in handling materials and inventory, contributing to teamwork and respecting all policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Accurately pick and load outgoing shipments according to company guidelines utilizing RF technology in an SAP-EWM Environment
* Offload & put-away incoming materials, inspect for damage, and ensure accuracy of shipments received
* Conduct daily lift truck inspection reports and immediately report equipment issues
* Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems
* Collaborate with other departments to support production and distribution needs
* Must be eager to learn, excited to work on a team, and have good written and verbal communication skills
* Other duties as the need arises and/or assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* High School diploma or equivalent experience.
* Forklift certification required (must be able to drive both Counterbalance & Reach material handling equipment
* Minimum 1 year experience as a material handler or shipper-receiver (preferably in a warehouse or manufacture setting)
* Demonstrates the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Ability to read, write and comprehend sophisticated instructions, correspondence, and reports.
* Requires good mobility and involves considerable lifting (less than 35 lbs.), pulling, bending, standing and walking.

Working Conditions
* The incumbent in this role spends almost 100% of their time in a distribution/manufacturing environment, which may involve varying degrees of physical labor.
* Incumbent will use standard personal protective equipment such as, but not limited to, safety shoes, safety glasses, and aprons.
