These teams respond to multi-channel contacts, identifying and delivering customer opportunities, alongside retaining our loyal customer base. In addition, this role will also provide supportive guidance and direction to both teams. Main Responsibilities: To manage and develop the sales team to deliver sales & retain performance and achieve set budget targets for sales, upselling, cross selling, revenue, VAS and existing customer add-ons. Empowering the team to achieve strong results, remove barriers to growth and develop their team to maximise their potential and achieve and exceed KPIs. Developing, analysing and presenting key performance results vs targets to key stakeholders across the business and demonstrating trends and performance of the channel. Working with 3rd party sales partners to deliver key performance targets. Achieving required churn rates, and reporting back to the business trends and performance within this business-critical areas. Working with the Marketing team to drive sales demand into New Business Sales and delivering exceptional customer service within the sales journey. Responsible for discharging all Wildanet people and safety policies, within their area of responsibility. Key KPI's: Key performances indicators for this role include, but are not limited to: 90% retention rate Target sales per channel, per day (TBC) Key Activities: While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include: Reviewing retention activity and making recommendations on retention strategy. Managing the team to deliver their sales targets. Providing encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks. Building daily reports on performance and sharing insight within weekly trading meetings. Assisting management with hiring processes and new team member training. Answering team member questions, helping with team member problems, and overseeing team member work for quality and guideline compliance. Communicating deadlines and sales goals to team members. Developing strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals. Conducting on the job observe & coaching sessions to update members on best practices and continuing expectations. Generating and sharing comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines. Hosting daily sales briefings to inspire and drive performance within the sales team. Ensuring company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards. Providing quality customer service, including interacting with customers. Essential Person Specification Knowledge: Microsoft office & CRM knowledge. Internet & social networking understanding Virtual management across all areas to deliver profitable revenue. Knowledge of management principles. Knowledge and understanding of managing a New Business team. Knowledge of managing sales campaigns through a telesales environment. Altnet/communications & product knowledge (desirable) Skills/Attributes: Strong sales experience and a passionate for sales, with a desire to exceed all sales targets. Strong retention skills Excellent computer skills Ability to multitask using relevant systems. A high level of self-motivation and ambition. Customer centric High level of resilience Ability to think creatively Drive profitable opportunities Be proactive and create positive experiences for others Ability to work independently as well as part of a Team Managerial & leadership skills Mentoring skills Performance management skills Coaching and development skills Ability to drive performance remotely as well as face to face. Data analytics to understand sales trends Experience: A solid background in New Business Sales and working in a sales campaign environment. An outstanding record of sales achievement. Presenting and talking to groups and potential customers. Demonstratable experience of community engagement, hosting events and leading a team to drive pre-sales engagement. Experience of managing a large team & being accountable for team performance. Experience of sales performance culture. Experience of managing inbound & outbound sales campaigns, to include new & existing customers. 5 years’ experience within New Business Sales / Sales Leadership (desirable) Qualifications: General level qualification, to include numeracy and literacy. Circumstances: This role may involve occasional travel throughout Cornwall or Devon. Variable shift patterns between 9am-5pm and 11am-7pm apply Some evening and weekend working may be required and where applicable overnight stays on occasion. Full UK driving license (desirable)
