Protocol Education is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist SEND resource base attached to a mainstream primary school.
The provision supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils with EHCPs
* Delivering targeted interventions
* Supporting communication and social development
* Working closely with teaching staff and SENDCOs
* Encouraging independence and confidence
* Monitoring pupil progress against targets
Hours:
* Monday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Wednesday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
* Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm
* Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm
Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* SEND experience desirable
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply and pay for one
* Full-time applicants only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
