Job Description:
* Deliver engaging and effective teaching across both practical and theoretical elements of City & Guilds level 2 dog grooming qualification.
* Design and implement a varied and inclusive curriculum aligned with City & Guilds. Assess and grade learners' practical performance in accordance with curriculum standards and awarding body requirements.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised learning environment, including undertaking housekeeping tasks such as laundry and routine equipment maintenance.
* Serve as a key point of contact for clients by scheduling grooming appointments and ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and care are upheld at all times.
* Carry out a range of administrative tasks to support both teaching and operational activities.
About You
* You will be qualified to a minimum C&G Level 2 in Dog Grooming and have previous experience and confidence with a variety of dog breeds.
* Knowledge or experience in relation to aspects of teaching, training, assessing, mentoring or coaching others.
* You will be able to work methodically and accurately, whilst maintaining a professional and customer focused approach to all aspects of the role.
* You will demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment and communicate with all levels of staff, students and industry partners in a confident and knowledgeable manner.
