Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?We’re looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join friendly, inclusive schools across Wellingborough and Northamptonshire. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD and speech & language difficulties.
2. Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
3. Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
4. Support pupils withmunication, sensory and emotional development.
5. Assist with classroom routines, organisation and inclusive learning activities.
What We’re Looking For
6. A patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
7. Strongmunication and teamwork skills.
8. Previous experience working with children with SEN, autism or learning difficulties (highly desirable).
9. Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is an advantage, but not essential.
