You will work for a thriving media musicpany, with offices based in the heart of London.
Your new role
In this sole charge Accounts Payable role, you will report to the Finance Manager and undertake varied responsibilities including (but not limited to):
1. Sole responsibility for end-to-end Accounts Payable across the Group
2. Processing supplier invoices
3. Preparation and execution of payment runs
4. Internal liaison to ensure timely approval of invoices
5. Investigation and resolution of supplier queries
6. Supplier statement reconciliation
7. Supporting cashflow forecasting
8. Working alongside external payroll provider, dealing with employee expenses/credit cards
9. Ensuring correct VAT application on invoices, preparation of quarterly VAT returns
10. AP reporting including supplier spend, payments and balances
11. Ongoing review and improvement of AP processes
12. Provide full month-end and year-end support for all things AP related
What you'll need to succeed
13. Recent relevant experience in an end-to-end senior/sole charge Accounts Payable role
14. Understanding and prior experience supporting month-end
15. Experience working within the media/music industry with an understanding of royalties is advantageous.
16. You will be a self-starter who is keen to learn and progress in your accounting career.
17. Hard-working and deadline-driven, able to thrive in a demanding role.
18. You'll uphold high standards and work proactively.
19. Dynamics system experience is highly advantageous.
