Sales Manager
Glasgow / Hybrid Working
£35,000 – £45,000 basic salary + bonus/commission
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Sales Manager to join a growing business in a hybrid working position. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys leading from the front while still being actively involved in the full sales cycle.
This role is not purely management focused - the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a small sales team while also running product/service demos, handling client meetings, and personally closing deals.
The Role
* Lead, manage, and support a team of sales professionals
* Monitor team performance, activity levels, and sales targets
* Conduct regular coaching, development, and performance meetings
* Take a hands-on approach to sales activity and lead generation
* Run client demos and presentations both virtually and in person
* Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to close
* Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
* Work closely with senior leadership to support business growth strategies
* Maintain accurate pipeline management and sales reporting
* Drive a high-performance and positive sales culture within the team
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience within a Sales Manager or Team Leader position
* Proven track record of personally closing sales and achieving targets
* Comfortable leading from the front in a hands-on sales environment
* Experience running demos, presentations, or consultative sales meetings
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Motivated, commercially driven, and target focused
* Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
* Ability to thrive within a fast-paced and growing business
