In your role, you will plan and execute less complex portions of the internal audit plan, including audit activities and compliance activities such as SOX, ISAE3402, and SOC. You will present objectives and results to various levels of management, evaluating and improving risk management, controls, and governance processes. You will identify control deficiencies, assess exposure, and propose cost-effective recommendations.
How you'll spend your time...
* Responsible for planning and executing less complex portions of the internal audit plan, including audit activities and compliance activities such as SOX, ISAE3402, and SOC. Gathers and provides input into risk assessments in line with department standards, mainly in less complex areas. Presents results to different levels of management.
* Identifies control deficiencies, assesses exposure and significance, and proposes cost-effective recommendations. Monitors and validates the status of Management Action Plans. Recommends closure of these plans once actions are completed and deficiencies addressed.
* Coordinates with relevant control groups (internal and external) for planning and executing assigned work.
* Builds and maintains strong working relationships within Asset Management.
To be successful in this role, you will have...
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant
* Experience in public accounting, internal audit, technology audit, or related financial services
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to build and maintain relationships across teams, grades, and jurisdictions
* Work requiring advanced knowledge, exercise of discretion, and judgment, typically acquired through prolonged specialized education.

* CISA, CISSP, CIA certifications
* ICAEW, ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualifications
* Experience managing small to mid-sized projects
