Location: Hemel Hempstead / M40 Corridor
Sector: Housing Partnerships Contractor
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + £5k Car Allowance
The Opportunity
A great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing housing partnerships contractor within a supportive and ambitious commercial team.
This role would suit an experienced QS looking to continue progressing toward Senior Quantity Surveyor level over the next 12–18 months. You’ll work across multiple residential projects while gaining exposure to a collaborative and commercially driven environment.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for:
* Managing commercial aspects of residential construction projects.
* Producing CVRs, forecasts and cost reports.
* Procuring subcontractors and managing packages.
* Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.
* Supporting commercial reporting and project profitability.
* Visiting projects regularly while working flexibly between office and home.
* Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider operational teams.
About You
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within an SME main contractor or residential contractor.
* Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge.
* Comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
* Ambitious and looking to progress toward Senior QS level.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Located within commuting distance of Hemel Hempstead / M40 corridor.
