Key Responsibilities
* Undertake a busy and varied workload of employment matters, advising all types of employers with an emphasis on the financial services sector.
* Work on complex discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract litigation (Employment Tribunal and High Court) under appropriate supervision.
* Assist on non‑contentious projects including restructures (redundancy and TUPE) in the UK and across multiple jurisdictions.
* Provide general employment advisory work by telephone and email.
* Supervise the work of, and assist in the development of, trainees and paralegals.
* Take part in and initiate marketing, networking and other business development activities to maintain and develop work from existing clients and potential clients, including client seminars and training.
* Contribute to non‑fee‑earning activity such as knowledge sharing and internal training.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* 3+ years post‑qualification experience.
* Experience advising multi‑national commercial clients.
* Experience working on tribunal claims and other contentious matters.
* Independent thinker focused on generating commercial solutions for clients.
* Confident communicator able to develop client relationships and influence at all levels.
* Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
