We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic person to help develop and run activity groups within Adult Mental Health Inpatient Services in Parklands House.This is a impactful volunteering role on our adult mental health wards at Royal Oldham Hospital.
If you want to gain experience, improve your job prospects, or just want to give some of your time to help others, this volunteering role could be for you!

The role aims to enhance the experience of those using our inpatient services by supporting and encouraging service users to participate in group activities.
What the role involves:
* Encouraging and supporting service users to participate in therapeutic and social activities.
* Supporting the therapy team to plan and deliver activities on the weekly timetable.
* Providing assistance to ensure activity resources are used and stored appropriately.

The knowledge, skills, and attributes required for the role:
* Good communication skills.
* Punctuality and reliability.
* Ability to engage effectively with service users, carers, and staff.

* Provide two references
* Complete relevant training
