Electrician - Testing and Remedial - Mobile - 18 th Edition, Slough - to £45,000 plus commercial van and overtime @x1.5 (to £10k per annun) so £55k package with overtime My client, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management organisations are seeking a skilled and flexible Mobile Electrician with an emphasis on Testing and Remedial work We are one of the UK's leading compliance and electrical testing specialists and are seeking a Mobile Electrician - Testing & Remedial based in the Slough area. This role provides the opportunity to work across a wide range of clients, both public and private, with a particular focus on commercial projects. You will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and carrying out remedial electrical works in commercial spaces, this includes performing routine testing, diagnosing faults, and completing small installations as needed, all with a strong customer-focused approach. You will ensure full compliance with safety regulations by preparing method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments. You will have proven experience in electrical testing and remedial work and be willing to work unsociable hours, including weekends and overnight, compensated at enhanced overtime rates. Tou will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial sites. diagnosing electrical faults and carry out remedial works, complete small-scale installations and minor upgrades as required, prepare method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments, maintain accurate records and reports using mobile devices. And work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, nights, and regional travel. You will be certified in City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Certification, have proven experience in electrical testing (EICRs) and remedial works in commercial environments, relevant electrical qualifications (e.g, 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card)., strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards. And strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
