Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity in our Games Development Team to teach highly creative students across all of our Further Education and Higher Education programmes. The role focuses on coordinating and teaching the Games Development curriculum, developing 2D and 3D art pipelines, and fostering external links with employers and the industry to keep the curriculum current.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver the Games Development curriculum to students.
* Teach and assess vocational skills, ensuring an exceptional learning experience with employability and professional practice at its core.
* Develop and refine the courses in collaboration with Curriculum Managers.
* Maintain and grow external links with employers and the Games industry.
* Contribute to the design and upkeep of the open‑plan studio and professional design environment.
Qualifications
* Degree or Master’s in Games Development or related field.
* GCSE/Equivalent in Maths and English at grade C/9‑4 or higher.
* Knowledge and practice of game development workflows individually or as a team.
* Knowledge of 2D and 3D art practices and processes.
* Understanding of business requirements within a game‑development setting, including company logistics.
* Confidence using industry standard software such as project management tools, Blender, Unity, and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
* Understanding of the different specialisms used within Game Development and how they collaborate to produce a final product.
* Creative or technical portfolio demonstrating practical experience in generating Games and/or Interactive Media content.
* Working knowledge of C# programming, or willingness to upskill in this area.
