We are a growing nursery group and are seeking a dedicated Lead Practitioner to lead our Seaton Delaval setting.
We are seeking a qualified childcare professional to take on the role of Lead Practitioner, responsible for the day-to-day running of our nursery for children aged six weeks to four years. This is a key leadership position, combining hands-on care with the supervision and development of staff, the delivery of a high-quality curriculum, and the creation of a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
As Lead Practitioner, you will oversee the daily operation of the nursery, ensuring policies and statutory requirements are met while maintaining our ethos, vision and values. You will lead by example, teaching and supporting children's learning and wellbeing, while fostering strong professional relationships with colleagues, parents and carers. The role also involves managing admissions, supporting occupancy levels, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the nursery.
We are looking for a creative, reflective leader who can inspire others, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and education for every child in our setting.
