A fast-growing clean energy infrastructure company — backed by major funding and a mission to build a greener future — is developing a nationwide network of
multi-fuel hubs
to power electric, hydrogen, and biofuel commercial vehicles. They're now looking for a
CAD Technician
to join the design team bringing these ambitious projects to life.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a key member of the in-house engineering team, you'll support the end-to-end design process of low-carbon infrastructure projects — from early-stage concepts to detailed, construction-ready plans.
You'll be responsible for:
* Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil and site layouts
* Supporting planning applications with accurate, high-quality CAD visuals
* Creating drainage layouts, access roads, vehicle tracking and site flow designs
* Collaborating with engineers, planners, and commercial teams
* Updating and maintaining CAD libraries and drawing standards
* Assisting across RIBA Stages 1–4 to bring innovative hub designs to life
What You'll Need:
* Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(Civil 3D, Revit or similar tools a plus)
* Experience in civil/site layout drawings, drainage, and utilities
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings
* A collaborative mindset with great communication skills
* Interest in sustainability, transport, or clean infrastructure projects
* HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, CAD Design or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
